This course takes you from SQL newbie to a SQL “do”-bie in one half day. Learn the basic SQL functions that will help speed up your TMS work.

Structured Query Language (SQL) is the query workhorse behind every TMS search, and can be used to manage data at the database level. This course is for those with little to no SQL experience.

Note that this course uses SQL Server. Oracle databases may differ.

After this course, you will be able to:
• Create simple queries
• Build upon queries
• Navigate the TMS Database

A laptop is required for this course. You may use your own laptop, provided:

  • TMS is installed on your machine.

  • You have local administrators' rights on your laptop.

  • Your laptop is equipped with an up-to-date web browser (IE9+, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera, etc.)

Or, you may request a laptop rental when registering.
